The four members of Jindivik first met in the late 80s and early 90s in the live music and alternative scene around Farnborough in Hampshire. Three of the band, Chris Francis (vocals), Paul Strudwick (dirt bass) and Andy 'Baggy' Clark (guitars, programming, vocals) have previously played in numerous projects together and, at the end of their foray into the world of indie punk, they talked about forming something new.

It would be easy to categorise Jindivik as Goth Electronica, however on closer inspection influence from Industrial, EBM, Drum and Bass, Dubstep and Punk can also be heard.

Joined on clean bass by Andrew 'Tink' Verity they first started writing material together in 2010, music which took the step right back to where their friendships first began, At this time the conscious decision to hone their craft, their style and the overall feel of the band first rather than rush to release material, this is a labour of love, born of the mutual sharing of good music for more than two decades.

It would be easy to categorise Jindivik as Goth or Electronica or both, however on closer inspection influence from Darkwave, Industrial, EBM, Drum and Bass, Dubstep and Punk can also be heard.

Jindivik released their first album 'Plinth' via Bandcamp late in 2013, also available are individual remixes of tracks from the album.
