Born from a lack of excitement in various bands, Paresis is the creative outlet of Simon Fuller.
Paresis is an amalgamation of styles, a curious electronic/metal hybrid. The aim being to write songs with meaning, that say something, rather than promoting style over substance. The wildly differing influences that go into the music are barely recognisable but each contain darkness, intensity, beauty and aggression.
Beginning in 2009 a free, 5 track, online EP was released along with various other tracks. From 2011, Paresis went live, being noticed from the first gig by London label Armalyte Industries (www.armalyte.com) who, in September 2012 released the Last Shadow EP on CD and online. Featuring 3 original tracks and remixes from Dirty K, Cease2Xist, Digicore, Goteki and Haru Yasumi.
Paresis is currently working on new material, remixing as many other bands as possible, playing gigs and festivals across the country supporting artists of all shapes and sizes and is devilishly excited to play for you at Alt-Fest!
