Alt-Fest!

DISABLED FACILITIES AND INFORMATION

Application Process:

Firstly please purchase your Alt-Fest ticket and parking (or camper van parking) and camping if required.

You must then register for disabled camping and a carers 2 for 1 ticket (if you require one) along with your disabled parking access. To do this please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for a copy of the Disabled Access Registration form or download the form HERE.

Once you have completed this please email it back to us with either a photocopy of your DLA letter or a letter from your doctor confirming your need for the requests on your registration form. Your registration form and proof of disability need to be received together and attached to the email in order for it to be reviewed.

We will then review your application and email you within 4 weeks of receiving it. Please note that as with all ticket types and tiers we have limited numbers of places/space available so do please book early to avoid disappointment.

FESTIVAL FACILITIES

There is a disabled viewing platform in the main arena to allow for easy viewing of the Main Stage. There are also disabled toilets in the main arena and disabled campsite. The indoor stages (Goth + Industrial) do not have viewing platforms unfortunately. Space and access to the disabled viewing platform needs to be reserved in advance and may also be booked on the Disabled Access Registration form.

CAMPSITE FACILITIES

The disabled campsite is situated opposite and very close to the main arena for ease of access. Disabled toilets and showers are also provided in the disabled campsite. There is a power charging point for wheel chair users.  We will also have trained staff on hand should you need any help or advice whilst at Alt-Fest.

CAR PARKING

If you are camping in the disabled customer campsite your car is parked adjacent to the campsite and I'm afraid we do not have the facility for you to park your car next to your tent.  For those not wishing to camp but coming from local accommodation there will be disabled parking close to the main arena.

CAMPER-VANS ON THE DISABLED CAMPSITE

If you wish to bring your camper-van into the disabled campsite you will need to pay for a camper-van permit separately. Anyone who turns up on the day without a camper-van ticket will be charged accordingly and/or may not be permitted onto the disabled customer campsite if all space has been allocated. Additionally each person staying with you in your campervan will require a camping ticket. If you are also registering for a carers 2 for 1 ticket camping is included in their ticket.

Although the festival ground is very flat please do bear in mind it is a greenfield site with additional woodland areas, therefore there may be a few areas around the site not suited for wheelchairs. However all the woodland area and stages also have concrete and wooden trackways for easier access. Stewards are also on hand at all times should you need any help or assistance.

Please do not turn up on the day expecting access to the disabled campsite and/or disabled car parking unless you have registered/booked in advance.
