First off, don't worry! We at Alt-Fest will be bringing our children too so we fully understand why this question is being asked.
On the show side in our full-size big top all the shows before 9pm will be family/child friendly. After 9pm there is a cut-off and all shows will be more adult orientated and feature items potentially unsuitable for minors.
We will also be using special wristbands that are electronically coded and they WON'T allow access to these shows for anyone under 18 after 9pm. Likewise any area of the site not deemed suitable for minors will be strictly cordoned off and controlled, with access by the over 18's only. Any teenagers who perhaps look older than they are will have to provide ID to prove their age and will not get an over 18's access area wristband until doing so. This also applies to over 18's that look younger (you lucky youthful people!).

Yes, it's true! Alt-Fest will have many family and child oriented activities including a family camping area and a woodland walk! Watch this space for more details!!

Yep! We will be supplying a crèche for the little ones to give you a chance to experience a wider range of enjoyment!

Lots of things! For a start, our big top and circus shows will all be family-friendly before 9pm! We'll also have fairground rides, installations and workshops, secret woodland walks, children's areas, children's activities and attractions! So all in all, plenty to keep the little ones happy!

Yes there will. To make this festival the best it can be for everyone going we will have clothing restrictions in all areas EXCEPT for the Over-18's Zone where you can wear whatever you like!

Children of 12 and under are free with any accompanied adult. Children over 12 and under 16 are £50. 16's and over are full price.

Children have access to all the bands at all times at the discretion of their parents. They wont get access to the adult areas and it's only the circus shows that have a 9pm curfew for the under 18's. Hope this answers your question!
