We have also had quite a few questions about KickStarter, the most common ones are below and if you have a question please feel free to post a comment below and we'll get your question answered.
Q/ I would like to make a pledge and get several tickets via Kickstarter, may I do this and if so how can I buy more than 1 ticket?
A/ Kickstarter only allows you to either enter a pledge amount in £'s or to select a singular 'perk'. Frustratingly this is part of the core function of Kickstarter so if you'd like to make more than one pledge for say 2 or more tickets you'll need to register a new Kickstarter account for each pledge/ticket you'd like to 'order'.
Q/ I'd like to get a ticket for myself and also pledge for another option, so I can get the merch as well. How do i do this?
A/ As above i'm afraid. Please register and make your first pledge on Kickstarter, then re-register from an alternate email address and make your subsequent pledge(s). In theory you could do this multiple times. Slightly tedious but several people have already done this and let us know its easy to do and relatively painless.
Q/ What if you don't achieve your Kickstarter target/objective, will I get my money back?
A/ Absolutely, we only receive the funds from your contributions IF we exceed our target. You can help us hit and hopefully smash our target by telling all your friends, sharing our Kickstarter link on Facebook, Tweeting etc and also reminding them in a few days/weeks before our campaign ends... We'd appreciate this greatly!
Q/ I'm not sure if I can come to Alt-Fest, can I still contribute?
A/ Totally and YES, all contributions however small (or large) are really important to us. You can support the scene and be part of Alt-Fest even if you are not able to come. We have smaller 'perks' so you can show us some love, get yourself some Alt-Fest merch etc and we don't just have tickets up for grabs on Kickstarter. ALL the funds we raise are going towards Alt-Fest, particularly to book and secure the larger headline acts and every contribution brings us closer to our objective. So even if you think you may not be able to come please do support Alt-Fest and share the love!
Q/ I'll be coming to Alt-Fest with my children and there are no options on Alt-Fest to add my kids on, can I bring them and/or get them tickets later?
A/ Yes! What will happen is in April your ticket pledges will be imported from Kickstarter into the Alt-Fest.com ticket shop. You'll be emailed your account details. You'll then be able to login and 'apply'/add-on ANY add-ons or upgrades such as free 12 and under children's tickets, pre-booked car parking etc. Children 13 and over and under 16 are £50, again if you have teenagers 15 and under you'll be able to get their ticket added on to your account from April.

Your lanyard and wristband will be posted to the address given during the payment process. If you are purchasing Dismembership for a friend/as a gift, please let us know their full name in the 'Add special instructions to the seller' section. The items will then be posted to your address.
You will be emailed a discount code to use when purchasing your tickets before tickest go on sale (not valid for our Crowd Funding).
Children under 12 may accompany an adult with Dismembership (into the Dismembered tent, backstage tours etc).
