Pretentious, Moi? is a UK based goth band.
Although formed back in 1994 as a side project, the live band was created in 2009, when they were asked to play their first gig at the Judgement Day festival in Austria.
In spite of being a fairly recent entry to the UK goth scene, the various members are all from long-established bands, and the live band now includes some of the best known musicians in the contemporary UK gothic scene.
Offering a classic style, reminiscent of 90’s UK/German traditional goth with elements of folk, deathrock, and with a dance beat never too far away; their singles have received significant club play.
The band has gone on to bring their dynamic live show to numerous European festival and will continue with this tradition at Alt-Fest where they welcome everyone to join them.
