Was this on purpose to get people to buy 5 day camping? Or did someone mess up big time?
3-day camping which is normal across most festivals allows camping from Friday night to Sunday night. But all the coaches leave on Thursday. Are we allowed in or are we supposed to be stranded for a day?

Not a way to get people to buy 5 day camping or a mess up, no.
Most people in the community wanted the coach to leave on Thursday to allow for an extra day, so it was organised for the Thursday.. no more or less than that. If there is demand for a Friday service one can be arranged as well.
